Attendance Information

Registration for the Joint Conference on T&E Support to Prototyping and Experimentation is open to anyone with an interest in the subject matter of the Conference. However, some conference sessions and short courses may be limited to registrants who are employees of the U.S. Government, DoD, or its contractors. The conference will be held 30 January - 2 February 2023 at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North in Albuquerque, NM.

Accommodations

The Joint Conference on T&E Support to Prototyping and Experimentation will be held in-person at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North, 5151 San Francisco Road NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109.

DEPS has negotiated a block of rooms at government rates for Conference attendees at the ABQ Marriott Pyramid North. Companions

Companions are always a welcome addition to any DEPS meeting. To encourage them, we offer companion meal options at an additional cost. Our full meal option includes all meals that are provided for regular attendees including any evening and specialty functions that may be planned. For those companions who do not want to be tied to scheduled meal functions, we also offer a reception only option which includes only the Tuesday evening reception.

Note that some of the technical sessions will have limited participation requirements. Please see Security below.

Registration fees include participation in all Conference sessions for which the attendee qualifies; breakfast snacks, coffee breaks, and lunch Tuesday through Thursday, the evening reception on Tuesday, and a copy of the proceedings. Non-member registrations include either a DEPS membership or an ITEA membership.

Short course registrations include student materials, refreshments, and Continuous Education Unit (CEU) credits for successful students. Morning courses include breakfast snacks and a box lunch is provided to those attending afternoon courses. Short courses can be purchased separate from your Conference registration by using this short course registration form.


Registration for this event is closed online but is available onsite.

Persons requesting cancellation through 9 January will receive a full refund. Cancellations after 9 January are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after 27 January.


Security

The 2023 Joint DE T&E Conference will be composed of open, limited distribution and classified sessions.

Please note that some sessions at the Joint DE T&E Conference are to be covered at the CUI/Limited Distribution security level, which restricts participation in those sessions to employees of the U.S. Department of Defense/Government or its contractors. Attendees without security clearances or need-to-know may only attend the public-release (Distribution A) sessions. Instructions for submitting visit requests are provided below.

In accordance with the Information Exchange Agreements between the United States and the United Kingdom governments, employees from the United Kingdom government are welcome to participate in those CUI sessions that have been given approval by the presenter's local Foreign Disclosure Officers (FDOs). Presenters are encouraged to submit their presentations to their FDOs in a timely manner for UK approval and to let DEPS staff know when/if their presentation has been approved before the event.

Note that a picture ID will be required at check-in and upon entry into the classified and CUI sessions. Laptops, cell phones, and other such electronics will not be allowed in the classified sessions; please do not bring them to the classified meeting site. Videotaping or audio recording of any session at this meeting is prohibited. Note taking will not be allowed in classified sessions.

Please note that ALL visit requests must be received by 1500 (3pm Mountain Standard Time) on Friday 27 January 2023.

Submitting Visit Requests for BOTH CUI/Limited Distribution and Classified Sessions
Persons wishing to participate in the CUI/limited distribution or classified sessions must submit visit requests to DEPS via DISS according to AFI 31-101 and the NISPOM with the following information:

Attendees not having access to DISS may submit their limited distribution/classified visit request via fax according to the instructions below. Note that this method should only be used by those who do not have access to DISS. All faxed visit requests for personnel in DISS will be rejected and required to be re-submitted through DISS.

Visit requests for attendees not having access to DISS must be typed and on your company letter head. You should use the format that is best suited for your operation; however it must contain all applicable information below. The visit request must be signed by your security office/manager as to verify your employment and clearance status. Without this signature, the visit request is invalid and will not be processed. All visit requests must be faxed. Visitors can not hand carry their own visit request.

ATTENDEES WITHOUT VALID CACs PARTICIPATING IN CLASSIFIED SESSION:

    BASE ACCESS INFORMATION IS TO BE RECEIVED BY 1500 (3PM MST) 23 JANUARY 2023. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.
